Hero

Everyone has a hero. Some people choose a person they actually know and talk to in person to be their hero, while others choose their idols or people they do not actually know to be the person they look up to. Parents, friends, teachers, and celebrities can be choices to be a person's hero. A hero can be defined as someone who does something that makes an impact on one life or the lives of many. Heroes portray bravery and courage. People have heroes that they want to be like.

My hero would be Mrs. Karen Anderson, also known as "momma." My mom has been through so much throughout her life. No matter what obstacles she has faced, she has overcome them. She does not let anything bring her down. At home she saves our lives just by being there. With out her at home, I really think everyone would starve or really hurt someone because there would be no peacemaker. She proves her strength by just putting up with my dad, my little brother, and me. Courage, love, compassion, determination, and strength are just some of momma's amazing qualities. She has taught me how to be the best I can be. She always uplifts me when I am down. My mom is also very opinionated. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and get her point across. Karen Anderson would have to be one of the most amazing people I know.

In my life, I try to live by the examples given by my mother. I try to keep my goals in mind, and not let any obstacles stop me. Strength is something I envy of my mom. I try to be strong like her, but sometimes I do not succeed. My mom is my hero because she is the person that I try to be like in basically every aspect of my life. She is the one who gave my life, and who has helped me throughout everything.

Heroes can be anybody. They do not have to be a celebrity. My hero is my mom. She may not be famous in the eyes of other, but to me she is. I love my mom, and really hope that one day I can be like her!
