I am not a big fan of my math class. Currently I am taking Math 1100 or Finite Math. In high school, I took pre-cal with trig and graduated with a 105 average. My finite math class is on a lower level than my pre-cal class from high school! Everything we are doing in finite I have already done in high school. I guess that may be a good thing because that means the class is easy but I tend to get bored. Another thing is my teacher is a different fellow. He tends to "think outloud" quite often. When he says his thoughts outloud, he then immediately writes them on the board. I am serious. My math teacher writes EVERYTHING he says on the bored. Because of that, he gets chalk EVERYWHERE. That is another thing that bothers me. He gets chalk dust on everything that is near the board. He gets it all over him self. All on the books. Just all over everything. Something else that bothers me is that my teacher does not pay attention to the class. If someone asks him something he tells them to wait and then rarely gets back to them to answer their question. He also changes what he is trying to tell us numerous times. That tends to be confusing.
There is one good thing about my math class. I have four of my really good friends in there. Amanda--I knew her before I got here because she went to a high school that my high school played football against, Kate--one of my sorority sisters, Kyle--I met him the first day of class and we instantly clicked, and Don--my neighbor down the hall in the dorms. It is really relieving for me to have them in class with me. They lighten up the atmosphere. So even though I am not a big fan of my math class, I am not completely against going because of my friends being in there with me.
