Excitement!

My parents and brother live two hours away in Excel. I do not get to see them very much at all. I have really been missing them so much! Yesterday was my last flag football game of the season. As a surprise for me my mom and brother came up Saturday and stayed the night at my aunts house (which is 20 minutes away from AUM). I was so excited! Seeing them made my day. My dad could not come because he was out of town. I was NOT expecting them to come up! It is just not like them to just come up this way. Anyway I got to my aunts house and we all just sat around and talked and got caught up on what is going on in life. Then we went to bed about one in the morning. Then yesterday it was game day! My mom and aunt came out to watch me (it was really cold and windy so my mom wanted my brother to stay with my uncle so he would not get sick). Then we all came back to my aunt's house. My dad told my mom to go ahead and stay another night up here and that my brother could miss school since they do not get to spend much time with me. That made me feel great! We all just sat around and talked and laughed some more. My brother and I played some cards (Go Fish) for a good little bit. Then everyone went to bed except my momma and me. We stayed up until three this morning just having mom-and-daughter time. It was the best! I love my mom so much and she is my very best friend! I want to spend as much time with her as I can when I see her because it is not very often that I get to see her.
